I'm an engineer and a researcher at the University of Salento, in Lecce, Italy.

I graduated in 2018 and immediately started collaborating with my tutor, Prof. Luca Catarinucci who leads the EMTech Lab (Electromagnetic Solutions for Hi-Tech Laboratory).

My main interests are in the use of Additive Manufacturing technologies to prototype novel and unconventional RF Devices, otherwise unrealizable with traditional silicon-based tecnology.

I am always happy to start new collaborations, so don't hesitate to contact me for any ideas.

Research Interests

Additive manufacturing (AM) technologies represent one of the most disruptive innovations of the last few years. In the next future, a large part of the global industrial production would be made with AM processes.

My main research interest is the exploitation of the newest AM technologies to realize innovative electromagnetic devices.

Briefly, I design, simulate and realize antennas and microwave devices, mostly for IoT applications, and I am working to print them in 3D, with lower costs and, possibly, better performance.

Working at EMTech Lab, I have also obtained a fair amount of experience in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) applications, especially in the UHF band.

Indeed, UHF RFID is one of the most promising passive technology which enables the realization of the IoT paradigm and the development of smart sensor networks.
